International Students – Why choose Australia?

Australia’s international education is globally acclaimed, offering exceptional opportunities to study in renowned institutions. The country’s rich innovative heritage ensures limitless potential for success. With more than 750,000 international students across various sectors as of 2022, Australia ranks as the second-most preferred study abroad destination after the US.

Our outstanding higher education system boasts over 22,000 courses in 1,100 institutions and is ranked in the top 10 by the Universitas U21 Ranking of National Higher Education Systems, surpassing France, Germany, Norway, and Japan.

Top Destination to Study – Cities

Australia is home to five of the world’s top 30 student cities, thanks to its strong academic reputation, affordability, quality of life, and career opportunities. Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, and Perth offer ideal study destinations.

Student Visa Extensions

If you want to continue studying in Australia, we can assist with your student visa extension. Students enrolled in any CRICOS course can apply for a subclass 500 visa to extend their stay. It’s important to apply for a new visa before your current one expires to avoid deportation and impacts on future applications.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) use Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) to assess the skills, knowledge, and experience gained through work or volunteering. With an RPL certificate, your chances of landing the desired job increase by over 80%. Students can fast-track their qualifications by leveraging existing career or education experience, saving time and bypassing redundant learning. The process involves four steps: eligibility assessment, document submission (including an Experience Portfolio), evaluation by our RTO Partner, and the awarding of an RPL certificate based on the evaluation.

Change Course

Students arriving to Australia may wish to change their course or university for various reasons — and we’re here to help. If you’re moving to a higher qualification level, such as from a Diploma to a Bachelor’s degree, we’ll guide you through the necessary steps and requirements.

Professional Year Programs

The Professional Year Program (PYP), also known as the “Job Preparedness Program,” helps international students gain industry experience in Australia by applying theoretical knowledge in practical work settings. The program offers industry-relevant training combined with academic learning, internship placements that provide real-world insights into Australian workplace practices, and the opportunity to earn 5 extra points towards Permanent Residency under the general skilled migration scheme. The 44-week program consists of 32 weeks of training and 12 weeks of internship. We support Professional Year Programs in IT, Accounting, and Engineering.

Health Insurance

International students and their dependents (spouses and children under 18) studying in Australia must have Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC). This cover includes doctor visits, hospital treatment, ambulance services, and limited pharmaceuticals. We can help arrange the necessary OSHC for your entire duration of study in Australia.
