Under 20: usually included on a parent’s work or student visitor visa
Aged 5+: require their own student visa to attend school

Temporary Visitor Visa
Multiple-entry for three years, up to six months per visit

For parents whose child has been resident for ≥ three years

Tier Two – waitlist (currently 8–10 years)
Expression of Interest (EOI) must be accepted before applying
Parent Retirement Resident Visa
No EOI; direct application for retirees with no dependants
