Skilled Nominated Visa

The Skilled Nominated Visa – Subclass 190 is a points-based application that is sponsored by a State and offers direct permanent residence.

To receive an additional 5 points, State/Territory nomination is required. While anyone can express their interest through Skill Select, only candidates with approved State/Territory nominations will be invited to apply.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this Australian visa, you must meet the following criteria:

Your occupation must be listed on the relevant skilled occupation list.
You need to have a suitable skills assessment for your occupation.
Obtain State nomination from the relevant State authority.
Receive an invitation to apply for the visa.
If invited, you must be under the age of 45.
Meet the points test requirement with a minimum score of 65 or higher.
Demonstrate competent English language skills at the time of invitation.
Fulfill the health and character requirements.

Requirements

A copy of your passport’s biodata page.
Proof of relationship to family members included in the application (such as birth certificates for children or marriage certificate for your spouse).
Police clearances from any country where you have lived for 12 months or more within the last 10 years.
Evidence of your English language proficiency at the time of the invitation to apply.
Documentation confirming a positive skills assessment.
Proof of State nomination.
Verification of your qualifications.
Evidence of your employment history, including employment reference letters and payslips.
