Skilled Nominated Visa – SC 190
The Skilled Nominated Visa – Subclass 190 visa is a points-based application that is sponsored by a State and offers direct permanent residence. To receive an additional 5 points, State/Territory nomination is required. While anyone can express their interest through Skill Select, only candidates with approved State/Territory nominations will be invited to apply.
Eligibility:
To be eligible for this Australian visa, you must meet the following criteria:- Your occupation must be listed on the relevant skilled occupation list.
- You need to have a suitable skills assessment for your occupation.
- Obtain State nomination from the relevant State authority.
- Receive an invitation to apply for the visa.
- If invited, you must be under the age of 45.
- Meet the points test requirement with a minimum score of 65 or higher.
- Demonstrate competent English language skills at the time of invitation.
- Fulfill the health and character requirements.
Requirements:
You will need to provide the following as evidence to apply for the visa:
- A copy of your passport’s biodata page.
- Proof of relationship to family members included in the application (such as birth certificates for children or marriage certificate for your spouse).
- Police clearances from any country where you have lived for 12 months or more within the last 10 years.
- Evidence of your English language proficiency at the time of the invitation to apply.
- Documentation confirming a positive skills assessment.
- Proof of State nomination.
- Verification of your qualifications.
- Evidence of your employment history, including employment reference letters and payslips.
